Known for its strong focus on innovation, reliability, and long-term thinking, the company is expanding its technology teams in Riga and significantly strengthening its DevOps capabilities this year.
As a System Security Architect, you will take a leading role in defining and driving the security strategy for core DevOps platforms used by thousands of developers. You will work closely with ART leadership, system engineers, developers, and security champions to ensure services are secure, compliant, and future-ready.
This role combines strategic ownership with hands-on architectural expertise, turning security into a business enabler rather than a blocker.
Key responsibilities:
Define and continuously evolve the security architecture within the ART
Drive and maintain the security roadmap aligned with enterprise and product strategy
Lead threat modeling, risk assessments, and architecture reviews
Support risk-based decision-making, balancing innovation and compliance
Embed security best practices into DevOps workflows
Participate in PI Planning and ART syncs to ensure visibility of security topics
Ensure contractual, legal, and standards compliance together with governance teams
Requirements
5+ years of experience in security architecture, DevSecOps, or similar roles in complex IT environments
Strong hands-on expertise in DevOps practices and platform security*
Deep understanding of cloud and container security, IAM, infrastructure and application security, and network design
Proven experience with threat modeling, penetration testing, and risk assessment
Ability to communicate effectively and influence multiple teams at both strategic and technical levels
Strong analytical thinking and proactive, self-driven mindset
Strong English and Latvian language skills.
Nice to Have
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CSSLP
Cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS Security Specialty or equivalent)
Experience working in scaled Agile environments (SAFe or similar)

Salary range: EUR 4,700 – 6,800 gross/month
